Tangerine sour
Ingredients
for 1 glass
2 dl | tangerine juice |
50 g | sugar |
3 sprig | rosemary |
5 | juniper berries, crushed |
2 | limes, the whole juice |
½ dl | non-alcoholic gin |
1 | fresh egg white |
some | ice cubes |
1 segment | tangerine |
1 sprig | rosemary |
3 | juniper berries |
How it's done
Tangerine syrup
Bring the tangerine juice to the boil with the sugar, rosemary and juniper berries, cover and simmer for approx. 15 mins. Leave the syrup to cool, pour through a sieve.
Cocktail
Pour 3 tbsp of tangerine syrup into a shaker along with the lime juice, gin and egg white. Top up the shaker with ice cubes, shake well for approx. 30 secs. Fill a glass with ice cubes, pour the cocktail into the glass through a fine sieve.
To serve
Thread a tangerine segment onto a short wooden skewer, place on the glass. Garnish with rosemary and juniper berries.
