Onion and bacon raclette with caraway seeds
Ingredients
for 4 person
| 100 g | bacon strips, cut into thin slices |
| 4 | onions, cut into thin rings |
| 2 | garlic cloves, squeezed |
| 4 sprig | sage, finely chopped |
| 1 tsp | caraway seeds |
| ¼ tsp | salt |
| a little | pepper |
| 600 g | raclette cheese in slices |
How it's done
Topping
Gently fry the bacon in a non-stick frying pan until crispy, without adding any oil. Add the onions, garlic, sage and caraway seeds, season. Cover and cook over a low heat for approx. 25 mins., stirring occasionally.
Raclette
Place the raclette cheese in the raclette pans. Add the topping. Melt the cheese under a raclette grill for approx. 8 mins.
