Baked feta with olives

A super-quick mini meal for balmy summer evenings or unexpected guests. Warm oven-baked feta goes beautifully with olives and lemons. A recipe with very few ingredients. This dish is an absolute joy accompanied by a glass of crisp, ice-cold white wine or a refreshing drink and a fragrant, fresh baguette.

Ingredients

for 4 person

Gratin
300 g feta, cut into slices approx. 1 cm thick
red onion, cut into thin rings
organic lemon, thinly sliced
50 g mixed olives, pitted
4 tbsp olive oil
¼ tsp cayenne pepper
a little  pepper
¼ bunch mixed herbs, torn into pieces

How it's done

Gratin

Fan out the feta and place in the prepared dishes. Place the onion, lemon and olives between the slices of feta. Drizzle the oil on top, season and garnish with the herbs.

To bake

Approx. 25 mins. in the centre of an oven preheated to 180°C.
