Ingredients

for 4 person

Dip
1 tbsp mild mustard
½ tbsp apple vinegar
4 tbsp tomato puree
3 tbsp apricot jam
¼ tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp chilli flakes (e.g. Fine Food Chile Chipotle)
¼ tsp salt
Skewers
cherry tomatoes
red onion, cut into wedges
red pepper, cut into 12 pieces
sage leaves
1 tbsp olive oil
½ tsp salt
veal bratwurst
long wooden skewers (soaked in water for approx. 30 mins.

How it's done

Dip

Combine the mustard, vinegar, tomato puree and jam, season.

Skewers

Mix the tomatoes, onion, pepper and sage leaves with the oil and salt, thread alternately onto 3 skewers with 2 sausages each.

Barbecue (charcoal, gas, electric barbecue)

Grill the skewers over/on a medium heat (approx. 200°C) for approx. 10 mins. on each side, cut into 6 skewers, serve with the dip.
