Raspberry and cherry lemonade

Ingredients

for 2 litres

Syrup
2 ½ dl water
150 g sugar
250 g raspberries
150 g red currants
Lemonade
lemon, the whole juice
lime, the whole juice
250 g cherries, cut in half
150 g raspberries
4 sprig basil
1 ½ litre sparkling mineral water
some  ice cubes

How it's done

Syrup

Place the water, sugar and berries in a pan, crush, mix well, bring to the boil. Reduce the syrup over a low heat for approx. 5 mins, cover and leave to cool.

Lemonade

Pour the syrup through a fine sieve and into a large jug. Add the lemon and lime juice to the syrup along with the fruit and basil, top up with sparkling water, add several ice cubes.
