Dried fruit iced tea
Ingredients
for 2 litres
2 litre | water |
1 bag | verbena tea |
2 bag | peppermint tea |
70 g | dried apricots (sweet), coarsely chopped |
70 g | dried apple segments, coarsely chopped |
2 | organic lemons |
4 sprig | peppermint, leaves torn off |
ice cube |
How it's done
Tea
Bring the water to the boil, remove the pan from the heat. Place the tea bags and dried fruit in the water, stir. Cover the tea and leave to steep for approx. 10 mins. Remove the tea bags, leave the tea and dried fruit to cool, chill for approx. 2 hrs.
Iced tea
Strain the tea. Squeeze the juice of 1½ lemons, cut the remainder of the lemon into thin slices. Add the lemon juice, lemon slices and mint to the tea. Add the ice cubes and serve.
