Chicken steaks with peanut sauce
Ingredients
for 4 person
3 tbsp | sweet chilli sauce |
2 tbsp | peanut butter (crunchy) |
2 tbsp | soy sauce |
600 g | Skinless chicken steaks |
a little | pepper |
oil, for frying |
1 dl | water |
½ tsp | Maizena cornflour |
How it's done
Chicken
Combine the chilli sauce, peanut butter and soy sauce. Cover the chicken with 2 tbsp of the marinade, set aside the remainder of the marinade. Season the chicken. Heat the oil in a non-stick frying pan. Fry the chicken over a medium heat for approx. 5 mins. on each side.
Sauce
Mix the reserved marinade with water and cornflour, add to the chicken, simmer for approx. 5 mins.
