Citrus fruit bowl with orange granola
Ingredients
for 4 person
| 150 g | rolled oats |
| 100 g | fine whole-grain rolled oats |
| 100 g | almonds |
| 50 g | sunflower seeds |
| 50 g | dried cranberries |
| 2 tbsp | ground cane sugar |
| 1 | organic orange grated zest, set aside the remainder of the orange |
| ½ tsp | sea salt |
| 100 g | orange jam |
| 60 g | butter |
| 500 g | half-fat quark |
| 3 tbsp | sea buckthorn spread |
| 1 | grapefruit |
How it's done
Orange granola
In a bowl, mix the oats with all the other ingredients up to and including the fleur de sel. Melt the orange jam and butter in a small pan while stirring, add to the oats, mix. Spread the mixture on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
To bake
Approx. 40 mins. in the centre of an oven preheated to 160°C, mixing 3-4 times. Remove from the oven, leave to cool.
Bowl
Combine the quark and sea buckthorn spread, divide between 4 small bowls. Slice off the top and bottom of the reserved orange and grapefruit, then peel all round the fruit down to the flesh. Cut the fruit into pieces and slices, place on top of the quark along with approx. 100 g of the orange granola.
