Snickerdoodles
Ingredients
for 50 pieces
| 180 g | butter, soft |
| 150 g | cane sugar |
| 1 parcel | vanilla sugar |
| 1 pinch | salt |
| 2 | eggs |
| 350 g | half-white flour |
| 1 tsp | baking powder |
| 40 g | sugar |
| ¾ tbsp | cinnamon |
| a little | cinnamon |
How it's done
Dough
Mix the butter, sugar, vanilla sugar and salt in a bowl. Add the eggs. Using the whisk on a mixer, beat for approx. 3 mins. until the mixture becomes lighter in colour. Combine the flour and baking powder, mix in.
To shape
Divide the dough into approx. 50 portions, shape into balls, place on two baking trays lined with baking paper, flatten a little (e.g. using the base of a glass). Mix the sugar and cinnamon, sprinkle on top of the cookies.
To bake
Approx. 15 mins. per tray in the centre of an oven preheated to 180°C. Remove from the oven, allow to cool slightly, leave to cool completely on a rack. Sprinkle with a little more cinnamon.
