Ginger iced tea
Ingredients
for 2 litres
2 litre | water |
40 g | ginger, sliced |
1 | vanilla pod, halved lengthwise |
3 bag | black tea |
3 tbsp | coarse cane sugar |
1 | lemon *-* |
some | ice cubes |
How it's done
Tea
Bring the water to the boil with the ginger and vanilla. Remove the pan from the heat. Add the teabags, cover and allow to steep for approx. 10 mins. Remove the teabags, stir in the sugar, leave to cool.
Iced tea
Stir the lemon juice into the tea, pour into a jug. Add the ice cubes and serve.
