White mulled wine with apples
Ingredients
for 4 person
7 dl | white wine (e.g. Chardonnay) |
70 g | sugar |
1 | red-skinned apple, cut into cubes |
1 | vanilla pod |
2 | cardamom pods |
1 | star anise |
1 | red-skinned apple, in dics |
How it's done
Mulled wine
Pour the wine into a pan along with all the other ingredients up to and including the star anise, bring to just below the boil, stirring occasionally. Remove the pan from the heat, cover and leave to infuse for approx. 10 mins.
To serve
Heat up the mulled wine once more, strain, pour into glasses, decorate with the apple slices.
