Orange cake
Ingredients
for 12 pieces
| 2 ½ dl | QimiQ |
| 100 g | sugar |
| 2 ½ dl | full cream |
| 1 | round sponge |
| 1 | organic orange, grated zest and the juice |
| 3 | organic oranges, thinly sliced |
How it's done
Filling
Using the whisk on a mixer, whisk the QimiQ and sugar until smooth. Beat the cream until stiff, fold in. Drizzle the orange juice over the cut surfaces of the sponge. Top with the orange zest.
Cake
Spread half of the filling and orange slices over the base of the cake. Cover with the top half of the cake, spread the remainder of the filling and oranges on top. Chill for approx. 20 mins.
