Pear and ham toasties
Ingredients
for 8 pieces
8 slice | toast bread |
2 tbsp | apple juice |
2 tbsp | coarse-grain mustard |
150 g | smoked ham in slices |
2 | pears, cut into slices approx. 1 cm thick |
150 g | Appenzeller, cut into slices |
2 tbsp | hazelnuts, coarsely chopped |
1 tsp | coarse-grain mustard |
1 tbsp | lemon juice |
2 tbsp | olive oil |
1 tbsp | plain yoghurt |
salt and pepper to taste | |
100 g | lambs' lettuce |
How it's done
Toasties
Place the slices of toast on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Drizzle with apple juice, spread the mustard on top. Add the ham, pears and cheese, sprinkle with nuts.
To bake
Approx. 10 mins. in the centre of an oven preheated to 220°C. Whisk the mustard, lemon juice, oil and yoghurt in a bowl, season. Add the lamb's lettuce and mix well. Serve the salad with the toasties.
