Pomegranate and cardamom gin fizz

Ingredients

for 4 glasses

Cardamom syrup
50 g sugar
½ dl water
cardamom pods, crushed
Cocktail
1 dl gin
1 dl pomegranate juice
2 tbsp lemon juice
some  ice cubes
2 dl sparkling mineral water
70 g pomegranate seeds

How it's done

Cardamom syrup

Combine the sugar and water in a pan, bring to the boil. Simmer until the sugar has dissolved completely. Add the cardamom, leave to cool.

Cocktail

Pour the gin, pomegranate juice, lemon juice, ice cubes and cardamom syrup into a cocktail shaker, shake thoroughly for approx. 30 secs. Place the ice cubes in the glasses, pour the cocktail through a fine sieve, top up with mineral water, add the pomegranate seeds.
