Onion and apple tarte flambée
Ingredients
for 2 person
a little | butter |
1 | onion, cut into rings |
½ tbsp | sugar |
1 tbsp | water |
1 | rolled tarte flambée dough |
100 g | crème fraîche |
¼ tsp | salt |
¼ tsp | pepper |
1 | red-skinned apple, thinly sliced |
How it's done
Onion
Heat the butter in a frying pan. Add the onion, sugar and water, cover and cook over a medium heat for approx. 7 mins.
Tarte flambée
Roll out the dough, slide onto a tray along with the baking paper. Season the crème fraîche, spread over the dough, top with the apple and onion.
To bake
Approx. 20 mins. on the bottom shelf of an oven preheated to 240°C.
