French toast pieces
Ingredients
for 4 person
1 tbsp | clarified butter |
2 | red-skinned apples, cut into wedges |
250 g | bread, cut into pieces |
30 g | cane sugar |
20 g | butter |
2 ½ dl | milk |
3 | eggs |
1 tsp | cinnamon |
1 pinch | salt |
How it's done
Bread
Heat the clarified butter in a non-stick frying pan. Fry the apples for approx. 2 mins., add the bread, sugar and butter, toast for approx. 10 mins.
Egg mixture
Whisk together the milk, eggs, cinnamon and salt. Pour into the pan. Reduce the heat and cook for approx. 5 mins., turning occasionally, until the egg mixture solidifies.
