Sausage with grilled onion gravy
Ingredients
for 2 person
3 tbsp | balsamic vinegar |
4 tbsp | olive oil |
½ tbsp | liquid honey |
2 | garlic cloves, squeezed |
1 tsp | paprika |
¼ tsp | salt |
3 | onions, cut into wedges |
2 | veal bratwurst |
1 tsp | dried rosemary |
How it's done
Sauce
Mix the vinegar, oil, honey and garlic, season.
Grilled items
Place the onion on a grill tray, mix with 4 tbsp of gravy, coat the sausages with a little of the gravy. Mix the remainder of the gravy with the rosemary and set aside.
Charcoal/gas/electric grill
With the lid down, grill the onions over/on a medium heat (approx. 200 °C for approx. 15 mins., stirring occasionally. Add the sausages, continue to grill for approx. 10 mins. until cooked. Mix the onions with the reserved gravy, serve with the sausages.
