Baguette with chèvre chaud
Ingredients
for 4 person
1 | freshly baked baguette (approx. 250 g |
1 tbsp | butter |
1 | garlic clove *-* |
1 | soft goats' cheese |
2 tbsp | liquid honey |
1 tsp | dried rosemary |
1 tsp | mild mustard |
2 tbsp | white wine vinegar |
3 tbsp | olive oil |
¼ tsp | salt |
a little | pepper |
200 g | leaf salad |
How it's done
Baguette
Bake the baguette as per the instructions on the packaging, cut into slices. Combine the butter and garlic, spread on the baguette slices, place on a baking tray lined with baking paper, top with the cheese. Combine the honey and rosemary, drizzle half over the cheese.
To bake
Approx. 10 mins. in the upper half of an oven preheated to 220°C.
Salad
Whisk together the mustard, vinegar and oil in a bowl, season. Add the salad, mix and plate up. Top with the baguette slices, drizzle with the remainder of the honey.
