Beetroot latte

This beetroot latte is easy to prepare and is great as a quick breakfast or a heart-warming drink between meals.

Ingredients

for 4 person

6 dl almond drink
1 cm ginger, finely grated
pitted dates, roughly chopped
½ tsp cinnamon
200 g boiled beets, cut into pieces
a little  cinnamon

How it's done

Bring the almond milk to the boil along with all the other ingredients up to and including the cinnamon, reduce the heat, simmer for approx. 5 mins. while stirring. Add the beetroot and puree with a hand blender. Heat the drink once more and pour into glasses, decorate with cinnamon.
