Kale salad with pears and walnuts
Ingredients
for 4 person
| 150 g | walnut kernels |
| 3 tbsp | maple syrup or honey |
| 1 tbsp | water |
| 1 | lemon *-* |
| 4 tbsp | olive oil |
| salt, to taste | |
| 600 g | washed, prepared kale, cut into pieces |
| 3 | pears, cut into cubes |
| 200 g | feta, crumbled |
How it's done
Caramelized nuts
Heat the nuts in a frying pan with the maple syrup and water, stirring constantly until the nuts have caramelized. Transfer to a sheet of baking paper, leave to cool.
Salad
Combine the lemon juice and oil in a bowl, season with salt. Add the kale and pears. Plate up the salad, top with the feta, sprinkle with the nuts.
