Honey and melon lemonade

Ingredients

for 2 litres

Melon syrup
1 dl water
½  netted melon, cut into pieces
lime, the whole juice
3 tbsp liquid honey
Lemonade
¼  cucumber, thinly sliced
4 sprig lemon balm
some  ice cubes
1 ½ litre sparkling mineral water

How it's done

Melon syrup

Bring the water to the boil with the melon, lime juice and honey, cover and simmer for approx. 3 mins., puree and leave to cool (yields approx. 350 ml).

Lemonade

Place the melon syrup, cucumber slices, lemon balm and ice cubes in a large jug, top up with mineral water.
