Tomato soup with cheese straws
Ingredients
for 2 person
| 4 slice | zopf bread |
| 80 g | Gruyère, coarsely grated |
| 2 tbsp | butter, melted |
| 4 dl | tomato soup |
How it's done
Cheese straws
Spread the cheese over 2 slices of bread, place the remaining slices on top, press down gently. Spread butter on both sides of the bread.
Using a griddle pan or non-stick frying pan, fry the cheese bread for approx. 2 1/2 mins. on each side. Cut the bread into straws approx. 2 cm thick.
Soup
Heat the soup in a pan. Serve with the cheese straws.
