Oat-crumbed cheese with salad
Ingredients
for 4 person
1 | egg |
2 tbsp | white flour |
100 g | rolled oats |
2 | Tomme cheese (each approx. 100 g) |
oil, for frying |
1 tsp | mustard (e.g. with horseradish) |
2 tbsp | balsamic vinegar |
2 tbsp | olive oil |
salt and pepper to taste | |
200 g | leaf salad |
How it's done
Cheese
Beat the egg in a deep dish. Empty the flour and oats into two shallow dishes. Toss the cheese in the flour, then in the egg and finally in the oats, press down firmly on the crumb coating. Heat the oil in a non-stick frying pan. Fry the cheese for approx. 5 mins. on each side until golden brown.
Salad
Mix the mustard, balsamic and oil, season. Add the salad, mix, serve with the cheese.
