Beans in basil & tomato sauce
Ingredients
for 4 person
| 1 tbsp | olive oil |
| 1 | red onion, finely chopped |
| 2 | garlic cloves, finely chopped |
| 1 tsp | rosemary, finely chopped |
| 2 tbsp | tomato puree |
| 2 tin | chopped tomatoes (each approx. 250 g) |
| 1 tbsp | basil, finely chopped |
| 2 tbsp | crema di Balsamico (balsamic cream) |
| 2 tin | white beans (each approx. 250 g), rinsed, drained |
| 1 ½ dl | water |
| 1 tsp | salt |
| a little | pepper |
How it's done
Heat the oil in a pan. Sauté the onion, garlic and rosemary. Add the tomato puree and cook briefly. Add the tomatoes and all of the other ingredients up to and including the water, simmer for approx. 20 mins., season. Plate up the beans, garnish with basil.
