French 75 with grapefruit and bay leaf

Ingredients

for 4 glasses

Bay leaf sugar syrup
½ dl water
50 g sugar
bay leaves
Cocktail
1 dl gin
organic grapefruit, juice one half, cut the other half into slices
some  ice cubes
4 dl champagne

How it's done

Bay leaf sugar syrup

Bring the water, sugar and bay leaf to the boil, simmer until the sugar has dissolved, leave to cool.

Cocktail

Pour the gin, grapefruit juice and sugar syrup into a shaker, add the ice cubes and shake well. Strain into the glasses, top up with the champagne, garnish with the grapefruit slices and bay leaves.
