Raclette with Alpine herbs and apple sauce
Ingredients
for 4 person
600 g | apples, peeled, cut into pieces |
1 tbsp | lemon juice |
½ tbsp | sugar |
800 g | raclette cheese in slices |
4 bag | Alpine herb tea, contents only |
a little | pepper |
2 tbsp | fried onions |
How it's done
Apple sauce
Bring the apples, lemon juice and sugar to the boil in a pan, cover and simmer over a low heat for approx. 10 mins., mash with a fork.
Raclette
Place the cheese slices in the raclette pans, top with the herb tea, pepper and a little apple sauce. Melt under a raclette grill for approx. 8 mins. Serve with the remainder of the apple sauce and fried onions.
