Crunchy pops monster
Ingredients
for 20 pieces
100 g | sugar |
3 tbsp | water |
50 g | white almond cream |
50 g | pops mix (e.g. Pops & Flakes) |
3 tbsp | coconut flakes |
¼ tsp | salt |
sugar eyes | |
1 | icing for writing |
How it's done
Caramel mixture
Boil the sugar and water in a pan without stirring. Reduce the heat and simmer, swirling the pan occasionally until a light brown caramel has formed. Stir in the almond butter.
Pops mixture
Mix the pops, coconut flakes and salt, stir into the caramel, allow to cool slightly. Gently shape into walnut-sized mounds by hand, place on a sheet of baking paper, stick sugar eyes onto the monster using the writing icing, leave to cool completely.
