Torta rustica
Ingredients
for 4 person
2 | puff pastry dough, rolled into a rectangle |
200 g | Basilico tomato sauce |
1 | tomato, cut into slices |
170 g | ham in slices |
150 g | mozzarella, torn into small pieces |
80 g | grated Parmesan |
1 | egg, beaten |
How it's done
Tart
Place a sheet of puff pastry place on a baking tray lined with baking paper, arrange the tomato sauce, tomato slices and ham on the pastry. Mix the mozzarella and parmesan, arrange on top. Brush the edges of the pastry with a little egg, place the second sheet of puff pastry on top, press down the edges firmly and prick the pastry with a fork. Glaze with the remainder of the egg.
To bake
Approx. 25 mins. in the centre of an oven preheated to 200°C. Remove from the oven, serve warm.
