Sausage and vegetables in pastry
Ingredients
for 4 person
| 300 g | light spelt flour |
| ¾ parcel | dry yeast |
| 1 ½ dl | lukewarm water |
| 1 ½ tbsp | olive oil |
| 1 ½ tsp | salt |
| 4 | frankfurter sausage |
| 1 | carrot, halved lengthwise |
| 1 | courgette (small), halved lengthwise |
| 2 tbsp | mixed seeds |
How it's done
Pastry dough
Mix the flour and yeast in a bowl. Add the water, oil and salt, mix and work into a soft dough, knead for several minutes. Cover the dough and leave to rest for approx. 30 mins.
Fillings
Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces, shape into strands approx. 20 cm long. Wrap one strand each around the sausages and vegetable halves, place on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Brush with a little water, sprinkle with seeds.
