Blackcurrant and blackberry jam
Ingredients
for 100 g
500 g | blackcurrants |
500 g | blackberries |
500 g | sugar |
4 sprig | thyme |
How it's done
Jam
Mix the blackcurrants, blackberries, sugar and thyme in a pan, bring to the boil while stirring. Boil the jam over a medium heat for approx. 10 mins. Ladle the jam into the clean, pre-warmed jars while still boiling hot, fill the jars to just below the rim, seal immediately. Briefly upend the screw-top jars, leave to cool on an insulating surface.
