Beef sandwich
Ingredients
for 2 person
| oil for frying | |
| 250 g | beef strips (à la minute) |
| ¼ tsp | salt |
| a little | pepper |
| 2 | white bread (e.g. mini ciabatta), cut open |
| 150 g | plain greek yoghurt |
| 1 | garlic clove, squeezed |
| ¼ tsp | salt |
| 45 g | baby lettuce |
| 2 tbsp | red currant jelly, stirred until smooth |
How it's done
Meat
Heat the oil in a frying pan, fry the meat in batches for approx. 3 mins. each, season and remove. Toast the bread rolls (cut side down) in the same pan for approx. 1 min.
Sandwich
Mix the yoghurt, garlic and salt, spread over the cut sides of the bread. Add the meat, salad and jelly.
