Beef ribs with blackberry marinade

Ingredients

for 4 person

Blackberry marinade
150 g blackberry jam
4 tbsp olive oil
garlic clove, pressed
¾ tsp sweet paprika
½ tsp ground cumin
½ tsp chilli flakes
1 ⅕ kg Spareribs (beef back ribs, whole)
Charcoal/gas/electric grill:
1 ½ tsp salt

How it's done

Blackberry marinade

Mix the jam, oil, garlic and spices. Set aside 5 tbsp for the sauce. Brush the ribs with the remainder of the marinade, cover and marinate in the fridge for at least 2 hrs.

Charcoal/gas/electric grill:

Wipe the marinade from the meat and set aside. Salt the meat, grill over/on a low heat (approx. 180 °C for approx. 20 mins. on each side. Occasionally brush the meat with the removed marinade. Serve the reserved marinade as a sauce.
