Strawberry lemonade

Ingredients

for 2 litres

Sugar syrup
150 g water
150 g sugar
lemons, use only the juice
Lemonade
250 g strawberries, in slices
1 ½ litre water or sparkling mineral water
2 sprig basil
  ice cube

How it's done

Sugar syrup

Bring the water and sugar to the boil, simmer until the sugar has dissolved. Stir in the lemon juice.

Lemonade

Place the strawberries in a jug, pour in the sugar syrup, top up with the water, chill for at least 1 hr. Add the basil and ice cubes before serving.
