Whole tandoori chicken
Ingredients
for 4 person
2 tbsp | peanut oil |
3 tbsp | tandoori paste |
¾ tsp | salt |
1 | chicken (approx. 1.1 kg) |
300 g | plain greek yoghurt, plain |
70 g | flaked almonds, toasted |
1 tsp | ginger, finely grated |
¾ tsp | salt |
a little | cayenne pepper |
How it's done
Chicken
Combine the oil, tandoori paste and salt. Pat the chicken dry, coat with the spice paste, place on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
To roast in the oven
Approx. 50 mins. in the lower half of an oven preheated to 220°C.
Sauce
Mix all the ingredients together. Serve with the chicken.
