Winter is a time for comforting recipes. And what better way to start than with this hot chocolate with peppermint! Warm, chocolatey and with a hint of freshness – this drink reminds me a little of candy canes and is perfect for Christmas! Comprising just three ingredients, this festive drink is ready in a flash and ideal for a cosy night in on the sofa.

Ingredients

for 2 person

4 ½ dl almond drink
115 g dark chocolate, finely chopped
2 tbsp peppermint syrup

How it's done

Bring the almond milk to just below the boil, add the chocolate and peppermint syrup, stir with a whisk until the chocolate has dissolved. Pour into cups, serve immediately.
