French toast in a jar
Ingredients
for 4 person
2 ½ dl | milk |
2 | egg |
2 tbsp | sugar |
1 parcel | vanilla sugar |
½ tsp | cinnamon |
1 pinch | salt |
8 slice | butter toast, cut into approx. 1 cm cubes |
150 g | frozen berry mixture, slightly defrosted |
20 g | butter, in knobs |
½ tbsp | sugar |
How it's done
French toast
Whisk together the milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar, cinnamon and salt. Divide the toast and berries between the jars, pour the eggy mixture over the top. Seal the jars, turn upside down for approx. 10 mins. Turn the jars the right way around, remove the lids, top with the butter and sugar.
To bake
Approx. 45 mins. in the centre of an oven preheated to 180°C.
