Chocolate and hazelnut spread

Chocolate spread can be healthy, especially if you use raw cocoa powder. This spread contains nothing but healthy, vitamin-rich ingredients so you can smear a nice thick layer of it over your bread with a clear conscience. Alternatively, you can dunk slices of apple or pear into the spread.

Ingredients

for 2 dl

50 g dried apricots
50 g hazelnuts
1 tbsp linseed oil
5 tbsp cocoa powder

How it's done

Soak the apricots and hazelnuts in water overnight. Drain the liquid, reserving approx. 1 tbsp, puree in a blending cup along with the oil until a creamy texture is achieved. Add the cocoa powder, mix well, transfer to a jar.
