Warm Bloody Mary
Ingredients
for 4 glasses
| 2 tin | cherry tomatoes (each approx. 250 g) |
| 2 dl | chicken bouillon |
| 2 stick | celery, incl. greens, sticks set aside |
| 2 tsp | sugar |
| 1 tbsp | lemon juice |
| a little | Tabasco sauce (e.g. Chipotle) |
| a little | sea salt |
| 1 dl | vodka |
| 1 | organic lemon, a little grated zest and 1 tbsp of juice |
| 1 tsp | Tabasco sauce (e.g. Chipotle) |
How it's done
Tomato juice
Bring the cherry tomatoes, stock, celery leaves and sugar to the boil in a pan, simmer over a low heat for approx. 10 mins. Remove the celery greens, puree the tomatoes until smooth. Pass the tomato juice through a sieve.
Rim salt
Combine the lemon juice and Tabasco. Pour the salt onto a plate. First dip the rim of the glasses into the lemon juice, then into the salt.
Bloody Mary
Stir the vodka, lemon zest, lemon juice and Tabasco into the tomato juice. Pour into glasses and add the reserved celery sticks.
