Zopf with mushrooms
Ingredients
for 4 person
1 tbsp | clarified butter |
300 g | mixed mushrooms (e.g. porcini, king oyster, oyster), quartered |
1 | garlic clove, pressed |
1 | red chilli pepper, deseeded, finely chopped |
¼ tsp | salt |
2 tbsp | flat-leaf parsley, finely chopped |
2 tbsp | clarified butter |
1 | garlic clove, pressed |
4 slice | zopf bread |
How it's done
Mushrooms
Heat the clarified butter in a non-stick frying pan. Add the mushrooms, garlic and chilli pepper, fry for approx. 5 mins. Remove, mix the parsley in with the mushrooms.
Zopf bread
Heat the butter and garlic in the same pan, fry the slices of bread for approx. 1 min. on each side. Top with the mushrooms.
