Champagne and chilli blast
Ingredients
for 4 glasses
50 g | sugar |
½ dl | water |
1 | red chilli, deseeded, finely chopped |
1 | organic lemon, a little of the zest and all of the juice |
2 dl | sparkling mineral water |
5 dl | champagne |
1 dl | Cranberry Nectar |
1 | red chilli, deseeded, cut into rings |
some | basil leaves |
12 | ice cubes |
How it's done
Chilli lemonade
Bring the water and sugar to the boil while stirring and simmer over a low heat for approx. 5 mins. Add the chilli and allow to cool. Stir in the lemon peel and juice, then strain.
Drink
Serve the chilli lemonade in glasses together with the champagne and cranberry nectar. Add the chilli, basil and ice cubes.
