Limoncello
Ingredients
for 1 litre
5 | lemons *-* |
7 dl | vodka |
3 dl | water |
350 g | sugar |
How it's done
Lemon vodka
Finely grate the zest of the lemons, cut off as much of the white part as possible. Add the lemon zest to a bottle and fill with vodka. Cover and leave in a dark, cool place for at least 10 days.
Limoncello
Bring the water and sugar to the boil in a pan, leave to cool. Drain off the lemon vodka, mix with the sugar syrup. Rinse out the bottle, fill the limoncello into the bottle.
