Melon ice lollies
Ingredients
for 14 pieces
| ¼ | watermelon cut into chunks, deseeded (yields approx. 250 g) |
| 2 tbsp | elderflower syrup |
| ½ | melon (e.g. Charentais), deseeded, cut into chunks (yields approx. 200 g) |
| 1 tbsp | elderflower syrup |
| ½ | melon (e.g. Muskmelon), deseeded, cut into chunks (yields approx. 200 g) |
| 1 tbsp | elderflower syrup |
How it's done
Watermelon ice
Puree the melon with the syrup, pour into the ice lolly moulds, freeze for approx. 2 hrs.
Charentais ice
Puree the melon with the syrup. Pour the melon juice on top of the first frozen melon mixture, insert the sticks, freeze for approx. 2 hrs.
Muskmelon ice
Puree the melon with the syrup. Pour the melon juice on top of the second frozen melon mixture. Freeze for approx. 4 hrs.
