Sweet yeast dough
Ingredients
for 1 piece
700 g | zopf flour |
2 ½ tsp | salt |
6 tbsp | sugar |
½ cube | yeast (approx. 20 g, crumbled |
3 dl | milk |
2 | eggs, beaten |
80 g | butter, soft |
How it's done
Mix the flour, salt, sugar and yeast in a bowl. Add milk, eggs and butter, knead to form a soft, smooth dough. Cover and leave to rise at room temperature for approx. 2 hrs. until doubled in size.
