Sausage sandwich
Ingredients
for 2 person
2 | sausage spirals (approx. 130 g each) |
2 | crusty bread rolls, halved crosswise |
2 tbsp | Dijon mustard |
2 tbsp | half-fat quark |
2 pinch | salt |
a little | pepper |
1 | tomato, in dics |
20 g | iceberg lettuce |
How it's done
Grill
Charcoal/gas/electric grill: Grill the sausage spirals over/on a medium heat (approx. 200 °C for approx. 6 mins. on each side. Toast the bread rolls alongside the sausages, cut side down, for approx. 1 min.
Sandwiches
Combine the mustard and quark, season and spread over the bread rolls. Place the sausage spirals on the bread roll bases, top with tomato and salad and cover with the lid.
