Superfood bars
Ingredients
for 10 pieces
| 2 | carrots, finely grated |
| 200 g | fine whole-grain rolled oats |
| 60 g | dried apricots (sweet), finely chopped |
| 40 g | hazelnuts, coarsely chopped |
| 3 tbsp | linseed |
| 2 tbsp | dried aronia berries |
| 4 tbsp | liquid honey |
| 1 ½ tbsp | rapeseed oil |
| ¼ tsp | salt |
How it's done
Bars
In a bowl, mix the carrots with all the remaining ingredients. Knead well by hand until the ingredients have combined to form a compact mass. Transfer the mixture to the prepared tin and smooth down.
To bake
Approx. 40 mins. in the centre of an oven preheated to 160°C. Turn the heat up to 180 °C and bake for a further 10 mins. Remove from the oven, leave to cool in the tin, cut into 10 bars.
