Grilled stuffed peppers

Ingredients

for 4 person

Mince filling
½ dl milk hot
30 g white bread (e.g. bread rolls), day-old, cut into cubes
500 g minced meat (beef)
egg
shallot, finely chopped
1 tbsp marjoram, finely chopped
½ tsp salt
a little  cayenne pepper
To grill the peppers:
long pepper (e.g. Cecei)
16 slice bacon (approx. 150 g)

How it's done

Mince filling

Pour the milk over the bread, soak briefly. Mix the bread with the mince, egg, shallot and marjoram, season.

To grill the peppers:

Cut open the peppers lengthwise, remove the seeds. Stuff the peppers with the mince mixture, wrap each pepper in a rasher of bacon.

Charcoal/gas/electric grill: Grill over/on a medium heat for approx. 10-15 mins. all over.
