Colourful chocolate-covered fruit
Ingredients
for 24 pieces
| 150 g | dark chocolate, cut into pieces |
| 150 g | white chocolate, cut into pieces |
| 2 | apples, each cut into 8 segments |
| 8 | strawberries |
| 24 | toothpicks |
| 4 tbsp | hundreds & thousands |
How it's done
To melt the chocolate
Place the dark chocolate in a thin-sided bowl and suspend over a gently simmering bain-marie, ensuring that the bowl does not touch the water. Melt the chocolate and stir until smooth. Repeat the process with the white chocolate.
Chocolate-covered fruit
Place the fruit on the toothpicks, cover up to ¾ with the white or dark chocolate and sprinkle with hundreds & thousands. Allow the chocolate fruit to dry.
