Veal steaks with artichokes
Ingredients
for 2 person
200 g | veal frying steaks (minute steaks) |
¼ tsp | salt |
a little | pepper |
1 tbsp | white flour |
1 tbsp | olive oil |
1 glass | artichoke hearts in oil (approx. 280 g), drained, quartered |
2 dl | single cream for sauces |
¼ tsp | salt |
a little | pepper |
¼ bunch | sage, finely chopped |
How it's done
Steaks
Season the meat, coat in flour and fry in hot oil for approx. 1 min. on each side, remove.
Dressing
Add the artichokes to the same pan and fry for approx. 2 mins. Pour in the cream, bring to the boil, reduce the heat and simmer for approx. 5 mins., season. Return the steaks to the pan and heat gently. Sprinkle sage on top.
