Basil hummus

Ingredients

for 2 portions

Garlic and basil oil
garlic clove
2 tbsp sesame oil
2 tbsp olive oil
1 bunch basil
Hummus
2 tin Karma Bio Kichererbsen (approx. 240 g), rinsed, drained
1 tbsp sesame oil
lemon, use grated zest, all of the juice
½ tsp ground cumin
½ tsp salt

How it's done

Garlic and basil oil

Place the garlic and oil in a pan (the garlic should be approx. 1/2 covered), heat gently, fry the garlic until golden brown. Leave the garlic to cool in the oil. Add the basil, puree.

Hummus

Place the chickpeas and remaining ingredients in a blending cup, add the garlic and basil oil, puree.
