Plum chutney
Ingredients
for 4 dl
250 g | frozen plums, quartered |
1 tsp | ginger, grated |
½ dl | balsamic vinegar |
½ dl | water |
2 | shallot, thinly sliced |
50 g | cane sugar |
a little | cayenne pepper |
¼ tsp | salt |
How it's done
Cook the plums for approx. 20 mins. over a medium heat along with all the other ingredients up to and including the salt, stirring occasionally. Leave to cool or transfer to jars that have been rinsed in hot water, seal immediately and leave to cool on a cloth.
